A secretive EU body has agreed to develop a device to be fitted to all cars allowing police to cut off any engine at will, it emerged today.
Leaked paperwork has revealed the 'remote stopping' technology could be activated by a switch in a control room, shutting off the fuel and cutting the ignition.
The device, which could be imposed within a decade, would also allow police to track a vehicle's movements as well as immobilise it.
The plans were immediately labelled as 'draconian' by critics, who questioned whether the Government would be liable if remote kill-switches caused collisions.

shamanseeker, this technology has been available around for 40 years, developed by the American auto industry in the 70's. Nick-name "Boston Brakes". Much more sophisticated decades later. I think Toyota vehicles experienced a taste of it on the CA freeways, the Mercedes Princes Dianna rode in, and the Sunday morning Danny Jowenka was killed after attending mass folowing his normal routine. http://www.dailypaul.com/172140/danny-jowenko-is-dead-3-days-after-sabrosky-interview-implicates-cia-mossad-in-911

Why do you suppose Obama's program "Cash for Clunkers" came about? Get rid of vehicles with naturally aspirated carburetors. Vehicles built with electronic ignition are fair game.

Have you noticed the increase price of these old vehicles...if you can find one?

In Australia we don't have registration stickers for our cars anymore - hmmmm.... If anyone still has doubts about big brother then think about my comment - no registration stickers on cars - microwave beam technology can trace and track any car - think about it. This article does not surprise me at all!

Much Peace - Amanda
