I found this interesting as well as relaxing. There are some very nice visuals in this video.

Imo, bacteria are just lovable. We couldn't metabolize without them. And they gave us mitochondria. We are symbiotic.

Believe it or not, but most viruses are benign as well. But you do get nasty ones among them, just as with bacteria.

Thank goodness because they're everywhere.

Turns out, the next in this series focuses on symbiosis.

Bacteria are loveable! ;). Oh Dreamtimer, that is so funny! Personally, I go for multi-cellular men, like the tardigrade -- also called water bears and moss piglets.

During the great oxidation transition, the predator was born. I'm not sure that was a good turn. :)

I love waterbears. They're amazing. But they do have a face only a mother could love...

They're now colonizing the moon. :p They were part of a Chinese mission that crashed on the moon, but tardigrades are enormously resilient. They can hibernate virtually indefinitely by completely dehydrating themselves, allowing them to survive in the harshest conditions.

So now we've probably introduced life onto another celestial body. ;)

We're starting small with the colonization, eh? Perhaps we'll move to larger nematodes next?

I was looking up the size of tardigrades and I found this precious cartoon:

As long as they don't take a bath ... they'll be fine ... I'm trying that experiment right now ... :)

As regards your experiment BOB, you may find yourself at a constant safe 'social distance'. And folks may be glad to have their masks at hand.

On that note, it has been quite some time since I've had to smell a person's bad breath.
