The real problem is that he is speaking to the choir. Trump speaks to the conservative, authoritarianism forms the fiber of their being. They want Tom Cotton to stomp on the insects and rodents. And it is why they can't separate from Trump's piping. It is nature versus nurture. The nurtured individual possesses empathy and compassion, foresight and a desire to see the world improve. The natural humans among us want to dominate, squash, and to hoard all of it for themselves.

It is an intractable problem. It is where the notion of 'enlightenment' really has an impact. But even then, enlightenment is construed as an ambiguous concept. Enlightenment for the conservative is 'knowing' that government wants to 'control' us and create a world dominant homogeneity with them at the bottom of the pecking order. No one will ever be able to convince them that it is a severe misapprehension of what 'enlightenment' truly is.

Yes, I do, and that's why I'm limiting my presence at Project Avalon to technical and moderation stuff only. I rarely ever post anything on the public forum there. Besides, I think you've seen well enough what happened to the last publicly visible thread I posted there.

true, He's just not fitting into my stereotype ... I worked with a guy for a short while, that did similar trainings, a good guy, but I wouldn't have trusted him farther than I could throw him. Beau is different, he's a 'strong' type with a heart, head, and very admirable values ... it just doesn't 'feel right' to me. A redneck angel. There's a guy I follow for tech information ... He's an australian, when I think australian I don't think 'helpful' and often i don't think 'sensitive' (Maybe I watched too many beer commercials). With “the news” itself (liberal, conservative or fake) making news these days, here’s a new voice joining the conversation about masculinity, guns and politics. Thanks Ryan Humphrey for putting him on my radar.

Of course, I had to dig into what this guy is about. Here’s what I’ve discovered so far.

His real name is Justin King. He’s what’s called an adversarial journalist. He’s also an ex-private military contractor. He comes from a military family, born in Japan. He’s spent time in jail as a result of some of his military “work.”

He’s an activist and an anarchist. He’s left-leaning (I think) but as opposed to many left-leaning activists of the Democratic Socialist ilk who are agitating for more government involvement and caretaking, he’s looking for less. He’s more of a survivalist.
He’s also heavy into conservation – especially of wolves.
I’m still baffled as to exactly what he’s about. But for anyone who is curious about politics – both global and domestic – and who is skeptical about current news (from all sources and political leanings), this is an intriguing new voice to add to the mix.
I was not expecting to hear what I heard him say based on how he looks and sounds (and he often references that disconnect).

I saw Beau's videos pop up when I was listening to Carpo719. I didn't watch any at first. Eventually I did. He's been hinting here and there at his experience but I haven't researched him.

It's pretty self-evident that he cares about the Constitution, doesn't fall for bullshit, and understands a great deal about police and the military.


Wolves are incredibly smart and also a top predator who increases rather than decreasing the biodiversity of it's habitat.

Former Emporia High teacher arrested, charged with 8 counts of sexual crimes against six students

Lyon County District Court has released more details in a case against a former Emporia High School social studies teacher who was arrested on multiple charges relating to complaints made by students earlier this year.

Tyler J. Bosiljevac, 39, of Emporia was arrested and booked into Lyon County Detention Center on eight charges against six victims relating to allegations of inappropriate sexual relations and battery Thursday morning.

The charges include two counts of Attempted Unlawful Voluntary Sexual Relations with a child under the age of 16, Attempted Sexual Exploitation of a Child between the ages 14 — 16 for purposes of employment, Sexual Battery on a child over the age of 16 with the intent to arouse or satisfy sexual desires, and three counts of Indecent Liberties with a Child between the ages of 14 -16, in which Bosiljevac engaged in lewd fondling or touching.

An affidavit has been filed with the Lyon County Attorney’s Office and is sealed to protect the identities of the victims.

The investigation began in February after complaints were made by a student to a staff member at EHS were reported to the Emporia Police Department regarding improper behavior by Bosiljevac.

“The investigation led to dozens of interviews with students,” Captain David DeVries said in a written release. “Multiple victims were found.”

Bosiljevac’s contract with the school district was terminated by the USD 253 Board of Education Feb. 26 during a closed executive session. The reasons for termination were later released and include:

Failing to demonstrate sound professional judgment;
Violating Board Policy GAAC, Sexual Harassment, which prohibits sexual harassment;
Violating Board Policy GAF Staff-Student Relations, which requires staff members to maintain professional relationships with students which are conducive to an effective education environment;
Violating Board Policy GBU Ethics, which requires an educator to recognize the basic dignities of all individuals with whom he interacts in the performance of his duties;
Violating Board Policy EBB, which addresses the provision of a safe environment for students while in school attendance; and
Failing to maintain a positive learning environment for students.
Bosiljevac is scheduled to appear in court Monday.

Why I put down the gun and picked up the pen

(TFC) – I was laying in bed and it was early morning. There was a knock at the door. “There’s the feds,” I said and rolled over to look out the window. There were a few local cop cars and the fed SUVs. I had known this was coming since the night before. I also knew they didn’t have a warrant for the location I was at. It didn’t really matter, though. I couldn’t stay inside forever. I walked out the door. “Officers, Agents.” I nodded with the most arrogant grin I could muster. I started counting badge types. There were a lot of agencies involved in this. “Want some coffee?” When they accepted the offer, I figured I had a shot. Maybe they didn’t really have anything? We sat on the porch, so they didn’t get access to the home and they tried to convince me to “help myself”, I tried to find out exactly what I was about to be hit with. By the time the pot of coffee was finished, we both knew we weren’t getting what we wanted. The agent told me he was placing me under arrest. In a small act of humanity, he moved me behind the SUV so my family wouldn’t see me cuffed. That was ten years ago today.

I waited in jail and met my attorney. Eventually, I was hit with a massive indictment with close to thirty counts for my alleged role in an international smuggling ring. We pleaded not guilty and took the case to trial. I sat in the courtroom and watched facts get twisted, lies be told, truth be proven a lie, and lies be proven true. I watched my alleged co-conspirators, some of whom I once considered friends, testify against me. The whole time, I sat and remained silent watching the wheels of justice crush out a narrative. I became a Zen master. What occurred around me was beyond my control. Every other witness presented a new prognosis. Was I doing 20 years? Walking out a free man? Who knew? By the end, I’m not sure I even cared. I had certain goals my attorney was aware of, and they had been met early on. At this point, if I fell on my sword, I fell. My attorney was able to get some charges thrown out, but by the end of the trial, a jury of twelve people who had been misled by the standard proceedings of a courtroom for a few days reached a verdict. I was found guilty on five or six counts, I honestly can’t remember and don’t care enough to look it up. In the federal system though, only the most severe charge matters, all other sentences would run concurrently. In this case, that was an Alien Smuggling charge. Given the number of aliens we expected the government to claim were smuggled, I was looking at somewhere between 37 and 46 months. I said nothing at my sentencing. I simply stood at parade rest and waited. My attorney advised me to expect between 39 and 43 months because the judge had a habit of sentencing right in the middle of the guidelines. He was right. I was given 41 months. I was ok with this, almost relieved. I never cooperated and never took a deal. With 15% off for good conduct and six months of halfway house I could expect to be out in as little as 29 months. It took a little longer than that, but never let it be said I can’t take a joke.

People always ask what prison is like. It’s like anything else. It’s whatever you make of it. Prison is an interesting place, nothing outside of it matters; past or present. It’s lonely. It’s a thinking man’s hell. It is depressing. Even in federal prison, which tends to attract a more intelligent clientele, it’s hard to find stimulating conversation. You’re alone with your thoughts. Me? I thought about what I was going to do over the next ten years. One of those things was getting involved in independent media and get to the point where I could bring new ideas to the forefront, maybe even make a difference.

Prior to prison, I was obviously anti-authoritarian and a radical, but I kept it hidden for the most part. After prison, I had no need to hide it. In many ways, the federal court system created the activist and journalist you know today. They forced me to take the time to analyze and create a plan. Before, I was an anarchist and I was a militant, but I tried to work within their system. This was especially true considering I was a military contractor and security consultant. I’m not going to address the conspiracy theories other than to say, no, I don’t work for an intelligence agency, but yes, that’s me in that photo taken around 2005. I’ll also say I wasn’t “at a meeting” with one of the most notorious US Intelligence officials in history, I was providing his security. You’re welcome. You should get some clicks off that statement.

People often point out that you don’t just wake up one morning and become implicated in an international alien smuggling operation. That’s true. I’ve got a backstory to my backstory. I’m not going to talk about every job I ever took or every company I ever worked for. My reasoning is simple: I said I wouldn’t. I’ve been to some dark places figuratively, literally, and in my own mind. I’ve got demons. I think most people do.

I also think many people let those past actions and demons define them and what they think they are capable of accomplishing. They allow them to limit them when they could be the reason to get up in the morning. In the early 2000s, I never would have predicted I would even be alive today. I was leading a double life, my closest friends who weren’t in the game had no clue what I did. I think some of them thought I was drug dealer, which is funny because I don’t even take aspirin. Hell, I’m not even sure what some of my family believes is true or false. All of these things, and the things that are too dark for a Tuesday morning article, are what make me effective.

The person who convinced me to write this today did so by saying he didn’t much care for me, but he liked that I was consistent. That consistency comes from my past. Why am I so consistent in my opposition to ethnic cleansing? Because I’ve seen it. I know people whose entire family tree was wiped out. Why do I refuse to let refugees become the scapegoat? Because I’ve been with them the first time they walked into a Walmart. It’s really hard to demonize someone who tears up because of the abundance of food. Why am I so adamant about the right of people to fight any government not of their choosing? Because I’ve seen what governments do. All over the world, you can see people doing unspeakable things, behaving as monsters. They lump every issue, every disagreement, and every stupid move, into one category and give the impression that because someone likes Trump, that they also think alike or agree with everything he or his administration does. This couldn't be further from the truth. Look at the images they put as the video attraction, a man upset looking like he has lost his mind in anger... Suggesting all Trump supporters are like him... They're not. Nor are all Democrats who support Biden.

If Trump does something stupid, those that do not support him assume that everyone who votes Republican agrees... I find that to be hilarious. You may as well have posted an image of Homer Simpson, and suggested that all Trump voters look like Homer and drink beer.. As these videos do suggest they must all be knuckle dragging fools.

I think this type of video is short sighted, and rather than hitting on issues, it is dividing the country into "Us against them" as far as people, rather than joining us towards resolving true issues. I suppose my big issue with the videos and how the news portrays America, is that it tries so very hard to divide us as a nation. And it is doing a good job... I have seen people lose friends over their opinions, rather than finding common ground, etc...

I find it difficult for any nation to ever move forward as a "United" anything, if they specialize in driving wedges between parties, drawing lines in the sand and fighting like schoolkids, it has just turned into a circus. When I watched the debates, I saw two children, interrupting each other, one saying "Awe c'mon man". Since when is this ettiquite? And in any way respectable, and these are the people supposedly running the free world?

So when I see these videos, on either side, (as I do not wish to see "Sides" I vote on issues....) It drives me nuts to think these are the people representing us Americans... I see friends disassociating with others, because of their political affiliations (even if they agree on issues), I see people refusing to tell their affiliation, as they know they will lose good friends... It's all madness. And I believe it is being designed that way...

It is going to take a well spoken individual to come to the forefront, to remind us that we are all in this together and bashing the neighbor serves no useful purpose.

And on top of that, Most presidents, in my opinion, are nothing more than figureheads anyway...

America has and has had a lot of influence in the world. Many nations and other entities would love to see us weakened. That gives them some kind of opportunity whether it's to step in and fill any gaps, create more, take power for themselves, just bring us down for the sake of it.

Most people and nations around the world don't want this, but it only takes a couple/few to cause trouble.

Just like it only takes a few people to make us look bad.

It's not only the media that shows the world who we are. We show it ourselves through organizations around the world which help people, or try to, and we welcome - until the last four years - new people onto our soil.

It's become clear that the Presidency is much more than a figurehead as the current one has demonstrated again and again. Our system can't operate as it needs to when it doesn't have leadership from above and chaos is not leadership.

Trump will likely herald scrutiny of the powers of the office because of his tenure. It was strengthened by those who worked towards the idea of a Unitary Executive for the last couple of decades and Trump took that to the nth degree. So we'll just need to bring it back into balance.

But America has been so litigious and people rely on the courts too much to 'solve' issues which are really about legislation. Courts are not legislators.

We need to get back to doing things the right way. And The People have to be involved so the vultures won't take all the positions of power.

In the first, Beau answers a question from a 'small government' conservative who wants to know how Beau does such a good job predicting what the Republicans will do next.

In prior videos Beau has talked about the 14 characteristics of fascist regimes. These were observed and written about by Umberto Eco and by Lawrence Britt.

Beau talks in this video about another 14 characteristics, using Umberto Eco as a reference. These characteristics parallel the MAGA movement.

Beau gets an average of five messages a week, from young adult children around America who are recently unable to communicate with their parents who've gone off the deep end when it comes to labelling things socialism and demeaning long-held values.

Beau reads one of them which hits all the points that he gets regularly in these types of messages.

This one's not about Kyle. It's about Cameron Lamb. He had a fight with his girlfriend. She left. He followed, but then went back home.

A cop saw him, called something in and within minutes a drone was at Cameron's house and shot him dead.

Today, a judge gave a guilty verdict.

Point being, focus on the positive, the progress as well.

I saw this thing the other day claiming that the Earth is rhythmically pulsating ... like a heartbeat ... :)

Nature oscillates. I wouldn't be at all surprised to learn that the earth has the equivalent of a heartbeat. Many consider the earth to be a living being. It makes sense.

As humans, we are a vast colony of microorganisms. Those tiny creatures don't see themselves as part of a human. But they are.

We don't see ourselves as part of a larger organism. But we are.

Great News! Beau has a channel about being on the road. Due to the public health situation they will likely be taking that channel in a new direction, namely growing your own food. A la homesteading. I'm planning on doing that anyway so I'm psyched. I hope they do it.

I met Clyde Bellecourt. I also met some of the youth that Beau references. I can say first hand that Clyde worked and travelled and encouraged people of all ages to do work to bring better things and more peace. And to be ready for difficulties because they always come.
