But why here? Both phenomena can be explained by a common historical thread — to unravel it Abby Martin sits down with indigenous scholar Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz to discuss her latest book “Loaded: A Disarming History of the Second Amendment”.

Ortiz, in a different interview, discusses how slaves were constantly in insurrection. They never accepted their status. Owners were quite worried over slave revolts. This is something I learned about years ago when I studied the Civil War.

Kanye West was full of garbage when he talked about slavery being a choice. He should have stayed in his lane. (see what I did there?)
