The founder of the Academy of Remote Viewing and Remote Influencing (ARVARI), founded in 1997, is Gerald O'Donnell, whose background is with a Western European intelligence agency in the 1980s. Apparently Gerald O'Donnell began his work practicing remote viewing and discovered remote influencing, a term he introduced in 1997 through this academy.
