It was just that his headline makes it sound like there has been a recent pilgrimage down there, but in fact it is talking about people who have held some public position and been down there, ever.
I don't find it THAT startling that people go down there when put into that context.

The family friend was onboard the AirNZ Antarctic tour flight that crashed into Mt Erebus.

You do have to be pretty sure though eh, that with a continent covered in ice for so many centuries, and situated at the bottom of the planet and amidst data and material regards how the Earth has changed its geographical layout through many ways over the 'eons' including pole shift and pole 'reversal'..... You'd have to pretty sure that if anywhere in the world there lies undiscovered, preserved remains of forgotten history, this place would be a prime suspect for near certainty to reveal a bounty of finds. I'd almost go as far to say treasure hunting is a natural behaviour in humans.
One would also presume the surface has long ago been successfully scanned through the ice for such items and there will be people who are completely aware of what things lie beneath the ice.

Definitely something BIG going down in Antarctica. A lot of very interesting visitors. Even Australia's environment minister went for a visit recently. I've no idea what is going on there - but whatever it is has got to be big - I'm sure something will turn up in the alt press soon - if we don't find out something via mainstream press somehow (of course it will be highly censored and unlikely to be truth, but I'm guessing they'll likely have to say something in the next year or so)...

Am new to science, have ignited my interest from the boring school curriculum of many years ago that did not inspire me at all. I now know enough to understand that our Magnetosphere is integral to our survival. To read of any articles or comments regarding the integrity of Our Magnetosphere being compromised in any way - that to me is startling news should it be correct.

Knowing that Cern is actually a series of locations that share a connectivity and that its intentions are not necessarily beneficial to Our Planet Earth is also of grave concern. Back in the late (northern) summer of 2015, our then-colleague bsbray contacted Joseph Farrell on account of doing an interview with him. Mr. Farrell seemed suspicious and wanted to know more about The One Truth before he gave his consent. He was also inquiring as to whether The One Truth is a religious organization — which is pretty strange, considering that Joseph Farrell himself graduated in Christian Science — but bsbray assured him that The One Truth is merely a forum and does not advocate any religious views.

A preliminary agreement was eventually made, but Mr. Farrell stated that he was going to attend the conference on the Secret Space Program first, and that the interview would take place in November 2015, after his return from the conference. He never got back to us after that. :hmm:

Listening to this latest from Farrell. I find his priestess comment interesting. He seems to be proclaiming that the Catholic God is male and that is why women can't be priests.

It's a little surprising to me because the oldest languages that the scriptures were written in don't paint God as only male. God has both male and female characteristics. The Shekinah was originally recognized as a feminine aspect of God.

I have a translation of the lord's prayer from the original Aramaic and it quite clearly has God as both male and female.

Perhaps the consistent diminishing of the female in God and the women of the bible is directly connected to the current problems we have with pedophilia. Can men who are never with women and never have children really understand or value either one? I have my doubts.

Mary Magdalene was Yeshua's wife and she was the chief apostle, but Peter felt that women were unworthy and did not accept her authority.

Later on, the Catholic Church started equating Mary Magdalene to the prostitute saved by Yeshua, and her name as Yeshua's favorite disciple was replaced in the scriptures by that of John, who was only a young boy at the time, and barely intellectually mature enough to understand Yeshua's teachings.


I have a translation of the lord's prayer from the original Aramaic and it quite clearly has God as both male and female.

The true Creator — i.e. Source — has no gender, because it also has no personality/identity. It is pure consciousness, and nothing more. Gender identity is something that only came to be as part of Creation, as one of the essential polarities that create the dynamics of existence.


Perhaps the consistent diminishing of the female in God and the women of the bible is directly connected to the current problems we have with pedophilia. Can men who are never with women and never have children really understand or value either one? I have my doubts.

GERMANY HAS HAD IT, CONSIDERS SANCTIONS AGAINST USA
A few days ago I blogged about a suspicion I've long entertained, namely, that there appears to be some sort of covert war taking place between Washington and Berlin, and that this covert war has been going on for a while, most recently entering an "economic warfare" guise. I've also advanced the hypothesis that American "rebasing" efforts in Eastern Europe were part of a very old geopolitical game, first played by King Edward VII, then by Clemenceau, Chamberlain and Daladier. Edward, of course, helped engineer the Triple Entente, the alliance of France, Russia, and Britain that was, of course, directed against Germany and eventually "lay siege" to the Central Powers for four years during World War One. Edward's ploy, of course, was also to prevent the "geopolitically unthinkable": an alliance of Russia and Germany, long the bug-a-boo of geopolitical thinking. After World War One, the formal alliance system was replaced by the idea of the cordon sanitaire, the "buffer zone" of small states created from the nationalities within the old Russian Empire: Poland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania became the "sanitary cordon" between Russia and Germany to prevent an alliance.

Of course, the Treaty of Rapallo side-stepped all of this. Then came the strengthening of that idea with the military guarantees given by Daladier and Chamberlain to Poland...

... an idea that didn't work out too well for Poland, France, the UK, or ultimately, Germany.

The most recent version of this game has been the "let's launch a coup in the Ukraine, and, just to keep Merkel out of it, launch sanctions on Russia (for its aggression in the affair, of course), which sanctions will keep Germany and Russia from building all those pipelines and cementing other lucrative deals). Part and parcel of my hypothesis about this covert warfare also deals with the war of fines and sanctions against German banks (Deutsche Bank) and German auto manufacturers.

Well, it's beginning to look more and more like this hypothesis might have some traction, for the gloves are increasingly coming off. The most recent round of anti-Russia sanctions, I wrote a few days ago, was as much directed against Germany as they were against Russia.

And now Kanzlerin Merkel is making no bones about it, and pulling no punches: Germany is considering economic sanctions on the USA, this time, against imports of American energy, according to this Sputnik article shared by Ms. K.M.:

There are some important considerations and paragraphs here to note:

In a joint statement, Germany's Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel and Austria's Chancellor Christian Kern slammed the decision by the US Senate to impose new sanctions on Moscow over its alleged interference in the US presidential election as well as the ongoing situations in Ukraine and Syria.

"Threatening German, Austrian and other European enterprises with penalties on the US market only because they take part in the gas supply projects such as the Nord Stream 2 together with Russia or finance them, is adding an absolutely new and highly negative aspect in relations between the US and Europe," the joint statement reads.

For his part, the leader of Germany's Social Democratic Party (SPD), Martin Schulz, lambasted US senators' move and called upon German Chancellor Angela Merkel to oppose it.

"We have seen that the US is pursuing a course in energy policy that is dangerous and is directed against Germany," Schulz told the Federal Association of German Industry (BDI). (Emphasis added)

Now, in my previous blog on this subject, I only suggested that the perception of the new sanctions regime would backfire and be seen as sanctions against Germany (which I also argued was the real additional, though hidden, target of the sanctions). Here, the leader of the opposition party in Germany, Herr Schulz, is now saying openly what only a few days ago was mere suspicion. To put it country simple: the situation is deteriorating quickly.

But there's more:

Germany and Austria suspect that Senate's anti-Russian bill is an attempt to "occupy" the European energy market on the part of US corporations.

"Germany and Austria went one step further, too — accusing the US of looking to promote the role of US LNG in Europe at the expense of Russian gas," the S&P Global Platts writer underscored, adding that the US apparently wants to kill two birds with one stone by exerting sanctions on Nord Stream 2: to "punish" Moscow and promote US LNG supplies in Europe, "which would have the knock-on effect of supporting domestic US gas industry."

In this context, Danilov wrote, it is most likely that potential anti-American sanctions would be aimed not at inflicting any economic damage on the US but at sabotaging Washington's attempts to seize the European energy market.

"A ban on the import of American LNG into the EU countries could have become a very effective tool to prevent America's attempts to influence the European market," Danilov assumed adding that this measure could potentially attract wide public support. (Emphasis added)

This, too, is a new admission in the growing and widening gulf between Berlin and Washington, and like it or not, where Berlin goes on this issue, Europe goes. That means we are fast approaching the point when Europe will have to choose between the USA and Russia, a choice that has been delayed for some decades, but which, now, with the USSA playing "world cop," crawling into bed with radical Islamic terrorist organizations, and interfering in the internal policies of several nations, in the long term, I suspect that the choice will not be favorable to Washington, regardless what Europe does in the short term.

Did You Read: "RE-SHORING": A SECURITY MEASURE?
The reason: Washington has proven its growing instability and psychopathy since 9/11. The last sentence of the article reminds us of this point: "It appears that the US political elite have completely forgotten that the interest of its European partners should be taken into account, Danilov concluded."

Precisely, the unipolar paradigm reigns in Washington, in the dominant party, and the fake opposition party. And that unipolar paradigm has, since 9/11, seen the following things be accomplished: (1) Japanese rearmament, (2) Growing Russo-Japanese cooperation, (3) A fed-up Philippines, (4) more bi-lateral currency-trade deals bypassing the US dollar, (5) an insane, banana-republic political culture in Washington, (6) arms sales to the (out)House of Saud, a prime contributor to Islamic terrorism, (7) growing radicalism in Indonesia, and now, (8) the growing estrangement between Washington and our most powerful ally in Europe.

Washington has repeatedly asked its European "allies" to step up to the plate and do more for its own defense. But I have to wonder, if that happened, and Europe then demanded removal of ALL American bases in Europe because they're sick and tired of being under Washington's thumb, what the response would be.

I suspect we all know.

In any case, I suspect we'll find out, after a few years of Japanese rearmament, when they once again ask us to get rid of our bases there.

So, if we want our allies to continue to be allies, then we need to stop treating them as vassals and satraps, and we'd better do so quickly. The trouble is, the idiots in Washington have not existed in a multi-polar world since the beginning of World War Two. They no longer know how.

They're stupid.

And because they're stupid, everyone is in trouble.

THE 3D PRINTING SCRAPBOOK: RESPONSIVE MATERIALS, AI, AND THOUGHT ...


It's been a while since I've posted anything in the 3D Printing Scrapbook, but here's one that was found by Mr. B.H., and it really made me think of some new scenarios and speculations for the phenomenon of 3D Printing, or additive manufacturing as it is also sometimes referred to (copy and paste into your browser):

You'll note here that this particular Canadian company is seeking to expand the scope of capabilities being integrated into and with additive manufacturing:

FREDERICTON—New Brunswick researchers are plotting what they call the “factories of the future” by developing 3D-printing technologies they said could pave the way for the next industrial revolution.

Mechanical engineer Ed Cyr is studying the applications of artificial intelligence in manufacturing 3D-printed materials as part of a $1.25-million innovation program from the McCain Foundation announced at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton Sept. 5.

Cyr will spend his UNB fellowship, valued at $50,000, working to understand the behaviour of 3D-printed materials with the goal of harnessing their special properties to improve conventional methods of manufacturing.

Cyr intends to take the advantages of this technology to the next level by developing 3D-printing methods capable of introducing new behaviours that cannot be found in conventional materials.

For example, he said he is studying a printed aluminum alloy that, when put under certain types of stress, increases in strength far more than a typical sheet metal.

“That would be would be useful for something like armour, perhaps, or maybe even building the wall of a ship,” he said. “For impacts happening at higher speed, like an icebreaker, it would become stronger instead of more brittle.”

Let that sink in for a moment, for what is being suggested is that additive manufacturing, combined with other advances in materials engineering such as nanotechnology, might be used to design entirely new types of materials and then deploy them for specific purposes via the additive manufacturing process. Indeed, a few years ago, when I first became fascinated by this technology, I purchased a rather sophisticated computer-aided-design program just to see if, indeed, all the hype was merited. Needless to say, I have been amazed at what one can design, once one learns all the ins-and-outs of the program. But now imagine such programs expanded to be able to design things all the way down to the molecular level all the way up to various parts and so on, and one gets an idea of how rapidly this field is expanding. We've already seen programs being sold for "do-it-yourself-in-your-garage" genetic engineering; couple this to additive manufacturing and this sort of materials engineering, and one gets the idea of the promise both of good (and ill) of the new technologies.

But there's more in this article, and it's this statement that really caught my eye:

Later in his research, Cyr said he wants to “push the boundaries” of manufacturing by investigating the possibility of 3D-printing powered by thought.

“For a human to sit down and come up with the optimal design, we would have to come up with thousands, and thousands, and that would be incredibly time consuming,” said Cyr.

“The beauty of a computer is it has the ability to go through those thousands and thousands of designs. It can actually model a total design space and tell us which one is the best, and it can even come up with things we might not even think of.” (Emphasis added)

Most readers of this website have probably seen those videos of monkeys, and in some cases, humans, with a "neural net" on their heads, making computer cursors, or even mechanical arms, move merely by their thought. Now imagine a similar apparatus, connected to a computer-aided-design program, and a 3D printer, and voila! a design unfolds on the screen and is printed in the computer, a step that would take prototyping to an entirely new level, one that, conceivably, would greatly diminish "lag" time from design to first model output. Think, for example, of those newsreels and films of design team draftsmen at their tables, manipulating their slide rules and carefully drawing and designing things, from the 1940s and 1950s, and you get the idea: months are compacted into days, or perhaps even a few hours and minutes. My father was an engineer and an architect, and I well remember those long hours he would spend on occasion, spreading blueprints out on the dining room table and going over calculations with his slide rule and later, calculator, making corrections in designs that would often take several hours and nights of after-work devotion. Now, I - an amateur - can do this on a computer-aided-design program and print out designs in much less time.

All of this, of course, implies that mind-mapping-and-reading technologies will proceed at a similar pace, and this recalls former President Obama's "brain project" to map the human brain and its processes in minute detail. Of course, the thing that immediately springs to mind is that such mapping would be of extreme benefit to improving mind-manipulation technologies...

... but if Mr. Cyr and others have their way, it will also transform manufacturing in ways that would have seemed like magic just a few decades ago. And with that compaction of idea-to-prototype time, costs go down.

In Australia it has been illegal for several years now to own the 3d printing instructions for a gun.
No doubt soon, if these predictions come true, it will be illegal to think of a design for a gun, ala Carbine Williams (the movie with James Stuart) who dreamed up his gun locked in the bog-hole in jail and F’All else to do.
(dont worry, all preschoolers mandatory vaccines in Australia soon, they won’t be dreaming up anything, see 82.221.129.208 on vaccine study and spontaneous abortion rates 6X).
It’s when these machines can eat their own raw materials that we can begin to wonder or worry.

When the mindset is geared to profit; the products produced reflect that. The corporate research is set accordingly; and disregards the living planet for a treasured dead rock of jewels & minerals.
If the mindset were centered around a living planet; a breath of fresh air and clean waters would be a given, instead of choking on air and drinking polluted waters.
What; literally, a whole new world we would be living in.
Thus, the culture produces sages like William S Burroughs who preceed to lay the groundwork in seeding the coming mindset for the new transhumanism:
Man is an artifact designed for space travel. He is not designed to remain on his present biological state any more than a tadpole is designed to remain a tadpole.
But has mankind even begun to develop the tools within his being to fashion unfound dreams into impossible realities; because his being has been enslaved by malevolent forces?

THE NEWEST SPACE IDEA: LASERS, SOLAR SAILS, AND COSMIC WARS


This article was sent to me by Mr. P.G., and it's one of those thought-provoking things that sent my high octane speculation into high gear. The article is by artsophysicist Ethan Siegel, and it's well worth pondering, for reasons I'll get to in a moment:

Is Humanity About To Accidentally Declare Interstellar War On Alien Civilizations?

What first caught my eye about this article was the technology that Mr. Siegel focuses on, a technology somewhere between those chemical rockets we grew up with, and the DARPA/NASA 100 year goal to have the USA be "warp capable":

“
Here on Earth, our dreams of interstellar travel have traditionally fallen into two categories:
1.We go slowly, with rocket-propulsion, on a journey taking many human lifetimes.
2.We go quickly, assuming we make tremendous scientific advances to travel at relativistic (near-light) speeds.

Either we go as the Voyager spacecrafts go, taking many thousands of years to travel even a single light year, or we develop some new technology capable of accelerating a spacecraft to much, much higher speeds. The first option seems unacceptable; the second seems unrealistic.

But something happened during the 2010s that has the potential to change the game. We've actually gone and made a huge technological advance that could impart a large amount of energy to a spacecraft over a reasonably long amount of time, allowing us to (in principle) accelerate it to tremendous speeds.

The big advance? In the science of laser physics. Lasers, now, are both more powerful and more collimated than they've ever been, and that means that if we put an enormous array of these high-powered lasers in space, where they don't have to fight atmospheric dispersion, they could shine on a single target for a long time, imparting energy and momentum to it until it reached more than 10% the speed of light.

In 2015, a team of scientists wrote a white paper on how an advanced laser array could combine with the solar sail concept to create a "laser sail"-based spacecraft. In theory, we could use current technology and extraordinarily low-mass spaceships (i.e., "starchips") to reach the nearest stars in a single human lifetime.

The idea is simple: shoot this high-powered laser array at a highly reflective target, attach a very small and low-mass micro-satellite to the sail, and accelerate it to the maximum speed possible. The ideas of solar sails are old, and have been around since the time of Kepler. But to use a laser sail would be a real revolution.

As Mr. Siegel goes on to mention, advances in new technologies are fast bringing this method of interplanetary travel closer to reality, and if a means can be found to protect the craft itself from becoming irreparably damaged by particles in space - he mentions the long term effects as turning the craft into "Swiss cheese" - it becomes even more feasible.

There's a problem though, at least according to Siegel: how does one slow the ship down, much less steer it accurately:

“
But there are three huge problems with this plan, and combined, they could be tantamount to a declaration of interstellar war.

The first problem is that interstellar space is full of particles, most of which move relatively slowly (at a few hundred km/s) through the galaxy. When they strike this spacecraft, they'll blow holes into it, rendering it into cosmic swiss-cheese in short order.

The second is that there's no reasonable deceleration mechanism. When these spacecrafts arrive at their destination, they'll still be moving at roughly the speeds they took off at. There's no stopping to take data or a gentle orbital insertion. They move at the speeds they move at.

And the third is that aiming to the level-of-precision needed to pass close to (but not collide with) a target planet is virtually impossible. The "cone of uncertainty" for any trajectory will include the planet we're aiming for.

The last possibility, he maintains, could mean that our "laser-sail" probes could actually impact an inhabited planet, with the force of the explosion of the Chelyabinsk meteor (which he specifically mentions in the article), and that, as noted above, could be tantamount to a declaration of war.

Which brings me to my daily dose of high octane speculation. The problem of steering and deceleration to my mind is rather simply solved, if I am understanding the concept of the "laser sail" correctly, and that is, simply have the lasers mounted in such a fashion that they can rotate, and equip the craft with a variety of sails to control direction and vector the craft accordingly, including a sail on the opposite side to decelerate the craft as one approaches the destination. I would think such a simple expedient should be rather obvious, which makes me wonder what the real point is here.

And the real point, I suspect, is not that these technologies are coming closer and closer to reality, but rather, that serious thought is being given to the subject of how not to cause an interplanetary war. After all, there could be many causas belli, besides inadvertently crashing on another inhabited planet. Merely entering into a "claimed planetary space" could do the trick by crossing some "border" of which we're unaware. In fact, I wrestled with this possibility in my talks at the 2015 Secret Space Program conference in Bastrop, Texas, by pointing out there are ancient traditions here on Earth of "quarantine zones" around the planet, a residue, I speculated, of some possible ancient "cosmic Versailles" treaty. I even offered the idea that such processes of reasoning as Mr. Siegel is advancing may have been the basis for why unmanned interplanetary probes launched from this planet carried plaques or other notices to the effect that "we come in peace."

And then there is the disturbing implication that Mr. Siegel mentions: an impact, much like the Chelyabinsk Meteor incident. Which makes me wonder - since we're talking high octane speculation - if this is not a backhanded admission that there may have been more behind that incident than meets the eye, as I speculated at the time. Was it a "message"? And if so, who really sent it?

In any case, I suspect that the mere fact that such ideas are being entertained and considered in a major publication like Forbes magazine may be an indicator that the slow trickle of information to prepare us for "something" is continuing...

... the "something" in this case being, new space propulsion technologies, and the very real possibility of interplanetary conflict.

Mr. V.T. spotted this one, and I simply have to pass it along, because needless to say, it occasions some high octane speculation.

For it's all about engineering the weather, you see, and that's a topic that has been and off-and-on subject of blogging and discussion here, both in vidchats and in the Dialogues with Daniel DiGriz, where one or the other of us occasionally brings it up. The subject intrigues me, because with the recent invention of "weather derivatives" added to the arsenal of financial schemes and scams of Mr. Globaloney, controlling the weather on which those derivatives are based would seem a surefire bet for some unique new twists on insider trading, especially since most people don't believe that humanity is capable of controlling the weather.

The subject also intrigues me for a very different reason, and that's the technologies involved with it, which seem to me to increasingly substantiate the view that weather, and in particular major storms such as hurricanes and tornadoes, are fundamentally electromagnetically-based phenomena, and not the hot-air-got-trapped-by-cold-air sort of stuff we learned in school (that was back when they were still trying to teach something. OK, it may have been incorrect, but at least they were still trying). I, and many others who have researched the phenomenon of weather engineering far more deeply than I, have concluded that much of the spraying, or "chemtrails" as they are more popularly known, is designed in part at least for this purpose: the modification of the electrical conductive properties of the atmosphere for a variety of purposes: mind manipulation, weather control, and even in some cases, "Star Wars."

The article is "Short Pulse Lasers for Weather Control," by JP Wolf, and unfortunately, as is often the case, all we get to see is the abstract (I not having the money to purchase the scientific papers of everything I'd like to read). In this case, the abstract says a mouthful, and here our attention will be focused on the second paragraph:

While non-linearly propagating in air, these filamentary structures produce a coherent supercontinuum (from 230 nm to 4 µm, for a 800 nm laser wavelength) by self-phase modulation (SPM), which can be used for remote 3D-monitoring of atmospheric components by Lidar (Light Detection and Ranging). However, due to their high intensity (1013–1014 W cm−2), they also modify the chemical composition of the air via photo-ionization and photo-dissociation of the molecules and aerosols present in the laser path. These unique properties were recently exploited for investigating the capability of modulating some key atmospheric processes, like lightning from thunderclouds, water vapor condensation, fog formation and dissipation, and light scattering (albedo) from high altitude clouds for radiative forcing management. Here we review recent spectacular advances in this context, achieved both in the laboratory and in the field, reveal their underlying mechanisms, and discuss the applicability of using these new non-linear photonic catalysts for real scale weather control. Ok, we've all known about the fact that lasers can "modify the chemical compositions of the air via photo-ionization" for some time, and we've also known that lasers can thus "photo-dissociate molucules," i.e., basically disintegrate them. LIDAR - light detection and ranging - has also been around for a while too. But then there's this:

These unique properties were recently exploited for investigating the capability of modulating some key atmospheric processes, like lightning from thunderclouds, water vapor condensation, fog formation and dissipation, and light scattering (albedo) from high altitude clouds for radiative forcing management.

Let that one sink in for a moment, and then ponder the euphemistic end of the abstract, that they want to use "these new non-linear photonic catalysts for real scale weather control." Yes, I'd call "investigating" such "unique properties" for the possibility of having "the capability" to modulate "some key atmospheric processes, like lightning from thunderclouds" is quite a capability. In other words, imagine being able to steer lightning, to target it, via a plasma channel created by a charged laser beam, creating a columnated channel of charge differential for the lightning to travel on. Build up enough charge differential by some means - oh, I don't know, like HAARP or some other ionospheric heater - build up a massive charge, and then use a space-based laser to create a channel for that charge to discharge to the ground. To make the whole process more efficient, one could also increase the electrical conductivity of the medium (in this case the atmosphere) by - oh, I don't know - maybe spraying it with all sorts of electrically conductive heavy metal particulates.

Sounds a bit like science fiction (and it is, of course, today's little bit of high octane speculation), and a bit like the ancient gods, like Zeus and Marduk, with their "thunderbolt" weapons. And if I can think of it, and you can think of it, rest assured, they can think of it and probably already have (funny how they seem to be building, piece by piece, the capability outlined above). And if such lightning bolt weapons seem to be "no big deal", look at the Valle Marineris on Mars, a vast scar running along the equator of the planet Mars, which some believe to have been caused precisely by such electrical arcing.

Of course, some will tell you this was all just natural catastrophism created by an electrically dynamic solar system, when the planets were bunched up much closed together and electricity arced from one planet to another. But the same techniques I outlined above could be used just about anywhere, by anyone, "anywhen", who had the technology to engineer systems of a planetary scale. And we're doing it.

HE FORGOTTEN KHASHOGGI CONNECTIONS

If you've been following the Khashoggi disappearance case, you're probably like me: baffled by it all. After all, there's not much about it that makes much sense, and there are so many connections that spill out from it that it raises a number of questions, all of them boiling down to "just what the heck is going on?" Mr. S.D. spotted this article at Zero Hedge, and it's an excellent summary, as far as it goes, of all those "connections":

Not the least of the "problematical problematics" of the case are related to what the author of the article has to say about former CIA director John Brennan's sudden about face or "Road to Damascus" experience, where Brennan, who once opposed the release of the 28 redacted pages on 9/11 lest too much be revealed about the role of the (out)House of Saud seems to have changed his mind:

Regarding The 28 Pages, CIA Director, John Brennan once said, “releasing a classified section of the congressional investigation into the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States would be a mistake. Yet, now when faced with the comparatively less significant disappearance and murder of only one man, Khashoggi (not the thousands on 9/11, the hundreds from Khobar and the Embassy bombings or the 17 U.S. sailors from the Cole), based on far less substantiated and convincing evidence from newspapers(rather than a several hundred page bi-partisan, bi-cameral Congressional Investigation’s Final Report), John Brennan is suddenly moved to hold the Saudis accountable.

On Khashoggi’s disappearance, Brennan had this to say: “It appears increasingly likely that Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi was detained and killed at Saudi Arabia’s consulate in Istanbul. There is still much that we don’t know, but if such an audacious act was carried out, it almost certainly would have required the approval of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Khashoggi was a particular irritant to the crown prince. Khashoggi was widely known and respected inside and outside the kingdom for his literary talent, political acumen and principled opposition to Mohammed’s increasing authoritarianism and arrogance. The news reports and Turkish government accounts of Khashoggi’s disappearance from the Saudi Consulate, and the contemporaneous arrival of two planeloads of Saudis, have the hallmarks of a professional capture operation or, more ominously, an assassination. As someone who worked closely with the Saudis for many years, and who lived and worked as a U.S. official for five years in Saudi Arabia, I am certain that if such an operation occurred inside a Saudi diplomatic mission against a high-profile journalist working for a U.S. newspaper, it would have needed the direct authorization of Saudi Arabia’s top leadership — the crown prince. I am confident that U.S. intelligence agencies have the capability to determine, with a high degree of certainty, what happened to Khashoggi. If he is found to be dead at the hands of the Saudi government, his demise cannot go unanswered — by the Trump administration, by Congress or by the world community. Ideally, King Salman would take immediate action against those responsible, but if he doesn’t have the will or the ability, the United States would have to act. That would include immediate sanctions on all Saudis involved; a freeze on U.S. military sales to Saudi Arabia; suspension of all routine intelligence cooperation with Saudi security services; and a U.S.-sponsored U.N. Security Council resolution condemning the murder. The message would be clear: The United States will never turn a blind eye to such inhuman behavior, even when carried out by friends, because this is a nation that remains faithful to its values.”

Really, Mr. Brennan? Never turn a blind eye? You turned two blind eyes to the Saudis for nearly 20 years as you defended them and kept the truth of their misdeeds shrouded in secrecy from the 9/11 families, the Embassy Bombing families, the Khobar Tower families, and the USS Cole families. Cover up is complicity and you have been complicit for 20 years! And now you are worried about inhumane behavior? Now, you are interested in the United States taking immediate action and imposing sanctions?

Nor is the hypocrisy limited to Mr. Brennan; it has reached across the aisles to become "bi-partisan":

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, was another one of the key members of Congress who chose to side with the Saudis instead of the 9/11 Families.

Specifically, regarding JASTA and the Saudi role in the 9/11 attacks, Graham was “not convinced the Saudi government was culpable even though many of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi citizens.”They want to blame bin Laden,” Graham said about the Saudis. “All I can say is, from what I can tell, I don’t think the government of Saudi Arabia was involved here.” Graham, who said he’s in close contact with Saudi officials about the issue, warned it could destroy America’s relationship with Saudi Arabia, a critical ally in the tumultuous Middle East. “This is an odd situation in the sense that 9/11 families are high on everybody’s list to take care of,” Graham said. “It comes at a time when Saudi Arabia believes that America is not a reliable ally. It comes at a time when they think they’re being blamed for things they didn’t do. All I’m trying to find is a way to move forward with a legal process that doesn’t destroy the relationship. Now juxtapose that with what Graham has to say after the disappearance of Jamal Khashoggi: “I’ve never been more disturbed than I am right now. Lindsey Graham has never been more concerned with such “brazen contempt” put forth by the Saudis in connection to the disappearance of Khashoggi? Apparently, for Lindsey, it wasn’t the 3,000 dead on 9/11, and fifteen Saudi hijackers flying planes into the Twin Towers and Pentagon that triggered the end of his Saudi love affair. No, it was Jamal Khashoggi getting killed in the Saudi Consulate in Ista

The hypocrisy here reveals a much deeper problem, that of the interconnectivity of "the deep state", and the deeply international entanglements that corruption of that breadth and depth creates. Consider just the connections that spin out from Khashoggi:

Which begs the obvious question: Who was Jamal Khashoggi and why has his disappearance and alleged murder triggered this unprecedented, and out of character response from so many in Washington DC?

Unfortunately, the answer to that question makes the many statements and support currently being given by so many in Washington even more incomprehensible. Because Jamal Khashoggi was no Mother Theresa.

First, let me be crystal clear—>Jamal Khashoggi was not merely a journalist working for the Washington Post.

Additionally, Jamal Khashoggi was not just an outspoken critic of current Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman.

Also, please note that in one of the leading books written about the 9/11 attacks, Lawrence Wright’s, “The Looming Tower,” Jamal Khashoggi is portrayed by Wright as a “friend” of Bin Laden. Khashoggi is not a “journalist” who reports on bin Laden. Rather he is described as Osama Bin Laden’s friend. And the Bin Laden/Khashoggi friendship apparently spans more than a decade—from Afghanistan, to Pakistan, to the Sudan.

In addition, also note that Jamal Khashoggi was closely connected to Prince Turki al Faisal. Prince Turki was the head of Saudi intelligence for more than 20 years. Interestingly, he resigned from his post 10 days before 9/11. Moreover, Jamal Khashoggi was also closely connected to Prince Alaweed bin Talal who was held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel last year by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. By now you may be wondering why I'm citing such lengthy sections of the Zero Hedge article. There is method to my madness, and it is directly related to today's high octane speculation, for it's that connection to Adnan Khashoggi that reveals just how deep this rabbit hole may be, and why so many now seem more concerned about why Khashoggi was suddenly "disappeared" in a Saudi version of an Arkancide.

So who was Adnan Khashoggi, besides being another rich Saudi billionaire? Well, for one thing, he hovers in and around the BCCI affair(Bank of Credit and Commerce International, otherwise more popularly known as the Bank of Crooks and Criminals International), and was strongly rumored to have connections to the Iran-Contra scandal, being one of the brokers handling the sensitive financial and arms transfers involved. And just for kicks, let's recall that when the BCCI blew up, its fallout connected to all sorts of "other stuff", like Roberto Calvi, Banco Ambrosiano, Saddam Hussein's attempt to buy a "supergun" from Canadian ballistics and artillery genius Gerald Bull, the Ps-G scandal and more rumored connections between Licio Gelli, Michele Sindona... you name it.

Now why is the Iran-Contra connection important, and how does it involve Khashoggi? The allegations first came out in an interview given by Gunther Russbacher to Rodney Stich (Defrauding America: A Pattern of Related Scandals) on May 1, 1991, which Russbacher was in federal prison. Russbacher alleged that prior to Ronald Reagan's 1980 election victory, that he flew then vice-presidential candidate George H.W. Bush, William Casey - who was to be Reagan's CIA director, and (here it comes) Robert Gates to a secret meeting in Paris with Iranian counterparts. Among the people whom Russbacher alleges were Adnan Khashoggi and Hashemi Rafsanjani, the Ayatollah Khomeini's second in command (Stich, op. cit., pp. 215-216, 220).

Lest we forget, Adnan Khashoggi was also connected to the theft of Inslaw's PROMIS software by the Reagan Justice Department, and its modification with secret "back doors" and subsequent sale to several countries, and its arranged "theft" by the Soviet Union. (See

And lest we forget, Adnan was Jamal's uncle, and Jamal was a cousin to the late Princess Di's lover, Dodi Fayed: Missing Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi is a nephew of a billionaire arms dealer and second cousin of Princess Diana's lover Dodi Fayed

I mention all this because of two overriding common features to all of these interesting connections; those features are (1) a connection to international finance; and (2) a connection to intelligence agencies, and especially, to the PROMIS software which could be - and according to some, was - modified to track financial transactions "in real time." And that, in my high octane speculation for today, is what I suspect the real story is here, for as I pointed out in my book Hidden Finance, Rogue Networks, and Secret Sorcery: The Fascist International, 9/11, and Penetrated Operations, there is a financial aspect to the 9/11 conspiracy that is quite large and which, in my opinion, is one of the centers and key motivations for the whole tragedy. The software would have facilitated the operations of a hidden system of finance, and moreover, made it possible to trace and track the financing of key cover operations and the entire network making it possible. The relationship between the PROMIS-Inslaw scandal and 9/11 may not seem apparent, until one considers the countries that suddenly quit using the software in the aftermath of 9/11. As I pointed out in my book, many of the countries warning about the impending 9/11 attacks also had purchased the modified software for use in their intelligence agencies, which suggests that the intelligence ultimately came from the very network involved in its planning.

But howsoever one speculates and connects the dots here, one thing emerges: the Khashoggis were involved in much deep state activity that connects a multitude of scandals.

In short, there is deep background to the deep state, and deep background to what is going on now. Back then, they called the whole alleged Bush flight to Paris in the 1980 election cycle to delay the Iranian release of American hostages until after the election, the "October Surprise", and it was none other than one of President Jimmy Carter's national security advisors, Gary Sick, who first uncovered and exposed the plot and popularized the expression itself in his book of the same title. And it can hardly be coincidental that once again, the Khashoggi family is in the news during the month of October. And that means, I suspect, that some in the "deep state" have some deep stress and anxiety right now, and that those anxieties concern that "deep background". Consider the Iran-Contra story that would not go away, not even after Senator Daniel Inouye (D-Hawaii) complained of the CIA running an entire air force and guns-for-drugs operation. One leg of that story, according to Terry Reed's Compromised: Clinton, Bush, and the CIA, ends up in Mena, Arkansas...

Over the past few weeks I've been occasionally blogging about the emergence of a new geopolitical reality that I've been calling "The Quadruple Entente," an understanding among the great powers of Asia of three principal realities: (1) China cannot be trusted; and (2) China cannot be trusted, especially under Mr. Xi; and (3) China cannot be trusted, because it is Communist. Obviously, all three propositions are related, but why it took everyone so long to figure out the last one is any sane person's guess. Think of it as Cuba, only on a much larger scale, with nukes, plenty of big dams that may or may not fail, virus problems, a problem with telling the truth, and, if recent banking loans collateralized by billions in fake gold bullion in the form of gold-wrapped tungsten bars are any indicator, a big economy that manages - without FASAB 56 regulations - to conduct its fraud right out in the open for everyone to see.

This Quadruple Entente, I've been urging, includes not just the "usual Big Three," i.e., the USA, Japan, and India, but Russia, which has its own very good reasons to be very skeptical of the "good intentions" of its big southern neighbor. And this situation has developed very quickly. Just a few years ago we were talking about BRICS; now, thanks to the Kaiser Wilhelm-esque diplomacy of Mr. Xi, China is being increasingly isolated due to its own swaggering and strutting. Granted, for most analysts out there, the fourth member of "the Quad" isn't Russia, but Australia, and for the most part that's true, except for the Great Powers part. Australia is not a great power (at least, not right now) and, like it or not, Putin's Russia still is.

But now you can add another country to the growing list of major players that has decided to put the brakes to its China trade: Germany, according to this article shared by L.G.L.R.:

What's incredibly intriguing here is that this story is being reported by a Japanese source, for reasons that will be obvious to anyone who has been following my blogging on this topic. But there's something even more interesting in this article. To give that "something" a little context, note the point about technology transfer:

After years of shaping its Asian strategy around China, Germany has made a sharp break and will focus instead on stronger partnerships with democracies in the region such as Japan and South Korea to promote the rule of law.

The shift comes as part of a rising sense of alarm throughout Europe about economic dependence on China and the country's track record on human rights.

"We want to help shape [the future global order] so that it is based on rules and international cooperation, not on the law of the strong," German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said on Sept. 2. "That is why we have intensified cooperation with those countries that share our democratic and liberal values."

Germany that day adopted new policy guidelines covering the Indo-Pacific, stressing the importance of the rule of law and promoting open markets in the region. The strategy echoes the approach taken by France, as well as Japan, Australia and members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

But economic growth has not opened the Chinese market as hoped. German companies operating there have been forced to hand over technology by China's government. Negotiations for an investment treaty between the European Union and China to address such issues have stalled, fueling concerns about becoming too economically dependent on Beijing.

This coincided with growing criticism of China's new national security law in Hong Kong and its detention centers for members of the Uighur Muslim minority, which in turn have led to increasing resistance in Germany to Merkel's pro-China policies.

German companies also have concerns about doing business and protecting their intellectual property in China, especially after Chinese appliance maker Midea Group bought German robot maker Kuka in late 2016.

And here comes that "interesting something":

Germany plans to work with France toward an EU-wide strategy on the Indo-Pacific. Berlin aims to boost its influence on the issue by having the entire bloc on its side.

It's that part about France that's intriguing, because if you've been following the emergence of The Quad, France is a major arms supplier, along with Russia, to - you guessed it - India, which as we saw earlier this week, is busily inking deals with Japan, extending lines of credit to Russia, and entering logistical support agreements not just with Japan, but with France. In other words, the "China card" has not worked out for Germany, and now it wants a piece of the other action, and even Mad Madam Merkel, in her lunacy, gets that. In other words, to the Quad you can now add both Germany and France to the list of "Major Interested Parties," and because of that, I strongly suspect, you will see both countries gradually turning away from the USA-led sanctions regime against Russia; after all, France has its own nice high-speed rail tech too, and Germany has a large pool of technology that would be of benefit to Quad members India and Japan, some of which is military.

So, this year's Kaiser Wilhelm II Award for the Most Inept Diplomacy goes to ...

...Mr. Xi Jinping of Beijing, China, who in a matter of a few short months of brilliant bungling, has managed to almost totally isolate his country... unless of course you're including paradisial Pakhistan.

Translation: “You got markets/resources we want, and we’re gonna make you hand ’em over on our terms” or “We don’t like your gov’t, and we’re gonna get rid of it.” Honestly, who can believe this “rule of law” bluster when you look around the U.S. or Western Europe today?? The reason America is in such a dreadful state is precisely because our culture here, and those who govern us, have lost all respect for the rule of law.

Anyhow… I wonder, as you do, what’s up with China’s relationship to the NWO/PTB/SPMOTU. It’s really mysterious. I thought China was the model society to them. There’s no way to describe Biden in the Democrook ticket other than to be the pad giving shape to a woman’s hair.

After perusing the different ‘governing systems’ being offered-up to the public, I have come to the conclusion that any of them could work – providing the Consciousness was high enough. On the other hand, lower Consciousness will corrupt/hobble ANY system…

So, I do not spend any time bragging/complaining over a given system. Instead, I devote any time/resources I have to trying to engage with Forces who can raise the Consciousness of the planet. If that occurs, it will be interesting to see how ‘governing systems’ sort out…

Over the past few weeks I've been occasionally blogging about the emergence of a new geopolitical reality that I've been calling "The Quadruple Entente," an understanding among the great powers of Asia of three principal realities: (1) China cannot be trusted; and (2) China cannot be trusted, especially under Mr. Xi; and (3) China cannot be trusted, because it is Communist. Obviously, all three propositions are related, but why it took everyone so long to figure out the last one is any sane person's guess. Think of it as Cuba, only on a much larger scale, with nukes, plenty of big dams that may or may not fail, virus problems, a problem with telling the truth, and, if recent banking loans collateralized by billions in fake gold bullion in the form of gold-wrapped tungsten bars are any indicator, a big economy that manages - without FASAB 56 regulations - to conduct its fraud right out in the open for everyone to see.

This Quadruple Entente, I've been urging, includes not just the "usual Big Three," i.e., the USA, Japan, and India, but Russia, which has its own very good reasons to be very skeptical of the "good intentions" of its big southern neighbor. And this situation has developed very quickly. Just a few years ago we were talking about BRICS; now, thanks to the Kaiser Wilhelm-esque diplomacy of Mr. Xi, China is being increasingly isolated due to its own swaggering and strutting. Granted, for most analysts out there, the fourth member of "the Quad" isn't Russia, but Australia, and for the most part that's true, except for the Great Powers part. Australia is not a great power (at least, not right now) and, like it or not, Putin's Russia still is.

But now you can add another country to the growing list of major players that has decided to put the brakes to its China trade: Germany, according to this article shared by L.G.L.R.:

What's incredibly intriguing here is that this story is being reported by a Japanese source, for reasons that will be obvious to anyone who has been following my blogging on this topic. But there's something even more interesting in this article. To give that "something" a little context, note the point about technology transfer:

After years of shaping its Asian strategy around China, Germany has made a sharp break and will focus instead on stronger partnerships with democracies in the region such as Japan and South Korea to promote the rule of law.

The shift comes as part of a rising sense of alarm throughout Europe about economic dependence on China and the country's track record on human rights.

"We want to help shape [the future global order] so that it is based on rules and international cooperation, not on the law of the strong," German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said on Sept. 2. "That is why we have intensified cooperation with those countries that share our democratic and liberal values."

Germany that day adopted new policy guidelines covering the Indo-Pacific, stressing the importance of the rule of law and promoting open markets in the region. The strategy echoes the approach taken by France, as well as Japan, Australia and members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

But economic growth has not opened the Chinese market as hoped. German companies operating there have been forced to hand over technology by China's government. Negotiations for an investment treaty between the European Union and China to address such issues have stalled, fueling concerns about becoming too economically dependent on Beijing.

This coincided with growing criticism of China's new national security law in Hong Kong and its detention centers for members of the Uighur Muslim minority, which in turn have led to increasing resistance in Germany to Merkel's pro-China policies.

German companies also have concerns about doing business and protecting their intellectual property in China, especially after Chinese appliance maker Midea Group bought German robot maker Kuka in late 2016.

And here comes that "interesting something":

Germany plans to work with France toward an EU-wide strategy on the Indo-Pacific. Berlin aims to boost its influence on the issue by having the entire bloc on its side.

It's that part about France that's intriguing, because if you've been following the emergence of The Quad, France is a major arms supplier, along with Russia, to - you guessed it - India, which as we saw earlier this week, is busily inking deals with Japan, extending lines of credit to Russia, and entering logistical support agreements not just with Japan, but with France. In other words, the "China card" has not worked out for Germany, and now it wants a piece of the other action, and even Mad Madam Merkel, in her lunacy, gets that. In other words, to the Quad you can now add both Germany and France to the list of "Major Interested Parties," and because of that, I strongly suspect, you will see both countries gradually turning away from the USA-led sanctions regime against Russia; after all, France has its own nice high-speed rail tech too, and Germany has a large pool of technology that would be of benefit to Quad members India and Japan, some of which is military.

So, this year's Kaiser Wilhelm II Award for the Most Inept Diplomacy goes to ...

(envelope please)...

...Mr. Xi Jinping of Beijing, China, who in a matter of a few short months of brilliant bungling, has managed to almost totally isolate his country... unless of course you're including paradisial Pakhistan.

Cosmic War
ASSASSINATION BY LIGHTNING

Lately, as you can tell, I've been blogging about Sudden Animal Deaths, the decline of insect populations, and so on. And I've been entertaining the idea for some time that these deaths might be due to the unintended consequences of increased environmental ambient electromagnetic radiation, or in some cases, as the deliberate result of the tests of electromagnetically based exotic weaponry. With respect to the latter hypothesis, I've entertained it with regard to the sudden deaths of whole flights of birds in mid-air, and - in an entirely different context - with respect to some of the anomalous photos and videos witnesses have gathered from fires in Australia and California. In regard to the latter, I've even gone so far as to suggest that the power grid itself might have been weaponized as the broadcast antenna for the fires by simply sending transients through the wires and into homes. With respect to the recent sudden death of a herd of elephants in Africa, I've entertained the idea of a lightning weapons test.

Yea, I know all this sounds nutty, and it probably is.

But the nuttiness isn't mine. It belongs to "them", you know, the guys that sit around and dream all this stuff up. "N." found this article and passed it along (our thanks!), and it's worth absorbing, because it's not coming from an "alternative media" source, but from Forbes magazine:

When The CIA Considered Weaponizing Lightning

Here's what has leaped out at me:

Thunderbolts are traditionally the weapon of the gods, but in 1967 the CIA were wondering whether they, too, could call down bolts of lightning from the heavens at will.

The idea is contained in a proposal from a scientist, sent to the CIA’s Deputy for Research ‘Special Activities’ and passed on to the chief of the Air Systems division. The scientist’s name has been redacted in the declassified document from the CIA’s archive, but the proposal mentions a previous discussion with the CIA, indicating they were being taken seriously.

The guided lightning concept is based on the observation that lightning follows a path of ionized air known as a step leader. Once the leader stroke reaches the ground and makes a circuit, the lightning proper is formed and a current flow, typically around 300 million Volts at 30,000 Amps.

The scientist suggests that artificial leaders could “cause discharges to occur when and where we want them.” The artificial leader would be a wire a few thousandths of an inch in diameter and several miles long. Wires would be inserted into storms by aircraft or rockets on a spool, and unrolled by a drogue parachute, and lightning would follow them down to the ground.

“This method is possible because the main discharge will occur through ionized surrounding the wire,” notes the scientist. The wire, like the leader, is only needed to get the lightning going, and would still work even if it broke.

Now let's dive into today's high octane speculation. If you've been following the phenomenon of "chemtrails" and the spraying being conducted, one of the things you'll have come across is the claim that much of the material being sprayed is particulate heavy metals. Sometimes the composition of this spray varies, but among the metals most often mentioned in this regard are aluminum, and barium. Sometimes there are others. In some examinations, the spraying began during the Reagan era as a secretive effort to increase the electrical conductivity of the atmosphere for his Strategic Defense Initiative project. This needed a "cover story," so in some versions, the spraying was being done to "save the environment" or to "combat climate change" (which explanation in itself is intriguing, because that implied the ability to manipulate weather on a planetary scale).

As the article itself notes, the use of wires was intended to provide a channel for lightning to close the circuit between the atmosphere and the ground, but that it "would still work even if it broke." In other words, you do not need a long wire, but several short ones in close proximity to each other to provide a channel or circuit for the lightning. Like particulate aerosolized heavy metals...

The next thing one needs is the ability to create the large charge differentials to be able to cause lightning to strike, otherwise that sheath of heavy metals might function to block such strikes like a big Faraday cage, though in my opinion this possibility is unlikely for a variety of reasons. In any case, one needs an ability to ionize the atmosphere sufficiently to build up these enormous charges, or to take a naturally occurring storm, and load more energy into it. Enter the ionosphere heaters like HAARP. Indeed, when this technology was being dreamed up and patented - incidentally, during Reagan's Strategic Defense Initiative era - some of the uses claimed for it were weather modification and steering, missile defense, and some analysts also made good cases that it could be used to cause lightning strikes.

In other words, the USA had, and has had, this capability since at least the 1980s, and probably now many other nations as well. Put the two together - the spraying and the heaters - and one would have the equivalent, perhaps, of the ability to bombard a region or area with lightning, a kind of "carpet bombing with lightning", and to coin a pun, a true and proper Blitz.

Obviously, carpet bombing with lightning isn't exactly "assassination" in any classical sense. For that, one would need some means for precision strikes, not just an aerosolized region and lightning strikes to start forest fires. One would need some means to be able to dial someone up, or at least, locate them, and use whatever such device that might be providing that location, to pulse it and them.

Yea... I know. It sounds nutty. And probably is.

But... while you're reading this on your ipad, remember that the first two essential requirements have been around since the 1980s at least, and the weaponized lightning idea since at least 1967, if not long before that, with the lightning bolts of the gods, who may not have been gods at all, but just people with an extraordinarily sophisticated science. After all, the ability to call down lightning strikes at a specific point would certainly impress a bunch of hairless monkeys who were still using bows and arrows to accomplish their mischief.

Aug. 12, 2016 · Greece’s Culture Ministry said Wednesday that the skeleton, probably of an adolescent boy, was found in the ash altar of The Temple of Zeus next to a man-made stone platform.
Also found, what they believe to be a fulgurite, which is petrified lightning. Fulgurites also have fullerenes C60 and C70.

ASSASSINATION BY LIGHTNING

Lately, as you can tell, I've been blogging about Sudden Animal Deaths, the decline of insect populations, and so on. And I've been entertaining the idea for some time that these deaths might be due to the unintended consequences of increased environmental ambient electromagnetic radiation, or in some cases, as the deliberate result of the tests of electromagnetically based exotic weaponry. With respect to the latter hypothesis, I've entertained it with regard to the sudden deaths of whole flights of birds in mid-air, and - in an entirely different context - with respect to some of the anomalous photos and videos witnesses have gathered from fires in Australia and California. In regard to the latter, I've even gone so far as to suggest that the power grid itself might have been weaponized as the broadcast antenna for the fires by simply sending transients through the wires and into homes. With respect to the recent sudden death of a herd of elephants in Africa, I've entertained the idea of a lightning weapons test.

Yea, I know all this sounds nutty, and it probably is.

But the nuttiness isn't mine. It belongs to "them", you know, the guys that sit around and dream all this stuff up. "N." found this article and passed it along (our thanks!), and it's worth absorbing, because it's not coming from an "alternative media" source, but from Forbes magazine:

When The CIA Considered Weaponizing Lightning

Here's what has leaped out at me:

Thunderbolts are traditionally the weapon of the gods, but in 1967 the CIA were wondering whether they, too, could call down bolts of lightning from the heavens at will.

The idea is contained in a proposal from a scientist, sent to the CIA’s Deputy for Research ‘Special Activities’ and passed on to the chief of the Air Systems division. The scientist’s name has been redacted in the declassified document from the CIA’s archive, but the proposal mentions a previous discussion with the CIA, indicating they were being taken seriously.

The guided lightning concept is based on the observation that lightning follows a path of ionized air known as a step leader. Once the leader stroke reaches the ground and makes a circuit, the lightning proper is formed and a current flow, typically around 300 million Volts at 30,000 Amps.

The scientist suggests that artificial leaders could “cause discharges to occur when and where we want them.” The artificial leader would be a wire a few thousandths of an inch in diameter and several miles long. Wires would be inserted into storms by aircraft or rockets on a spool, and unrolled by a drogue parachute, and lightning would follow them down to the ground.

“This method is possible because the main discharge will occur through ionized surrounding the wire,” notes the scientist. The wire, like the leader, is only needed to get the lightning going, and would still work even if it broke.

Now let's dive into today's high octane speculation. If you've been following the phenomenon of "chemtrails" and the spraying being conducted, one of the things you'll have come across is the claim that much of the material being sprayed is particulate heavy metals. Sometimes the composition of this spray varies, but among the metals most often mentioned in this regard are aluminum, and barium. Sometimes there are others. In some examinations, the spraying began during the Reagan era as a secretive effort to increase the electrical conductivity of the atmosphere for his Strategic Defense Initiative project. This needed a "cover story," so in some versions, the spraying was being done to "save the environment" or to "combat climate change" (which explanation in itself is intriguing, because that implied the ability to manipulate weather on a planetary scale).

As the article itself notes, the use of wires was intended to provide a channel for lightning to close the circuit between the atmosphere and the ground, but that it "would still work even if it broke." In other words, you do not need a long wire, but several short ones in close proximity to each other to provide a channel or circuit for the lightning. Like particulate aerosolized heavy metals...

The next thing one needs is the ability to create the large charge differentials to be able to cause lightning to strike, otherwise that sheath of heavy metals might function to block such strikes like a big Faraday cage, though in my opinion this possibility is unlikely for a variety of reasons. In any case, one needs an ability to ionize the atmosphere sufficiently to build up these enormous charges, or to take a naturally occurring storm, and load more energy into it. Enter the ionosphere heaters like HAARP. Indeed, when this technology was being dreamed up and patented - incidentally, during Reagan's Strategic Defense Initiative era - some of the uses claimed for it were weather modification and steering, missile defense, and some analysts also made good cases that it could be used to cause lightning strikes.

In other words, the USA had, and has had, this capability since at least the 1980s, and probably now many other nations as well. Put the two together - the spraying and the heaters - and one would have the equivalent, perhaps, of the ability to bombard a region or area with lightning, a kind of "carpet bombing with lightning", and to coin a pun, a true and proper Blitz.

Obviously, carpet bombing with lightning isn't exactly "assassination" in any classical sense. For that, one would need some means for precision strikes, not just an aerosolized region and lightning strikes to start forest fires. One would need some means to be able to dial someone up, or at least, locate them, and use whatever such device that might be providing that location, to pulse it and them.

Yea... I know. It sounds nutty. And probably is.

But... while you're reading this on your ipad, remember that the first two essential requirements have been around since the 1980s at least, and the weaponized lightning idea since at least 1967, if not long before that, with the lightning bolts of the gods, who may not have been gods at all, but just people with an extraordinarily sophisticated science. After all, the ability to call down lightning strikes at a specific point would certainly impress a bunch of hairless monkeys who were still using bows and arrows to accomplish their mischief.

NASA’S CONTRACT FOR LUNAR 4G… AND A QUESTION

So many people sent me this one that I had to blog about it, and interestingly enough, most of those who sent it were asking the same question I'm asking. The long and short of it is that NASA has just recently awarded a contract to Nokia to build a 4G network on the Moon:

Nokia wins NASA contract to put a 4G network on the moon. Yes, really.

Let's concentrate on the last two articles, for they give a strong reason as to why NASA wants a 4G network on the Moon. From the second article, there's this:

Finnish phone company Nokia has announced it's working with the US space administration to build a 4G LTE network for moonwalkers by late 2022. As well as voice communication and data transmission, the mobile network could power navigation, stream biometric data so controllers can keep an eye on each astronaut's health and fitness, and direct remote-control robots and sensors on the lunar surface.

And from the last article, there's this:

Nokia's research arm, Bell Labs, provided more details in a Twitter thread. The company intends for the network to support wireless operation of lunar rovers and navigation, as well as streaming video.

In other words, the network is necessary for data streaming, and more importantly, controlling robots.

I strongly suspect it's that "robot" angle that's the most important, especially since NASA's plans are to establish a permanent base on the Moon, and to construct that base one will have to have robots; robots to dig, robots to construct and fit things together, and presumably, robots to maintain aspects of the base, and that will require a communications network. NASA's plans here are not unusual, for the Russian space agency ROSCOSMOS has also suggested that robots would be needed to build and maintain such a base, again, implying a strong communications capability.

One might even envision that NASA's thinking is here much in line with ROSCOSMOS in another respect, in that ROSCOSMOS proposed the idea of building such a base with robots prior to human occupation. In other words, a communications network would have to be established to the Earth, allowing for control of the robots doing the building, and it would have to handle multiple streams of data.

In other words, the network would have to be a first priority and not a later one.

But it raises a few questions too, not the least of which is... why 4G, and not 5G? After all, we're told that 5G can handle so much more data, is a lot faster, and so on.

Well, I have a few high octane speculations about that, but they all come down to "airlessness", "microwaves", and "radiation hazards", which raises certain nasty questions about the latter's implementation "down here."

FOLLOWING THE SCIENCE INTO WHAT ISN’T TECHNICALLY CANNIBALISM

WARNING: Prepare to be grossed out. In fact, if you're squeamish or have a weak tummy, or like me can't watch those "medical films", fictional or otherwise, of surgeries without being grossed out, you might want to skip this blog altogether.

Ok... for those of you remaining, you might be aware that recently I've been noticing the new meme being driven into the public consciousness, the meme of "following the science." It's a scary meme, because following the science does not mean wrapping one's mind around the fundamentals of relativity theory or quantum mechanics. What it means is following the science when it is proposing massive policy agendas, you know, like mandatory nose-feeder bags to stop the spread of flu viruses(!), mandatory vaccines containing mitochondrial RNA components, mandatory carbon taxes to stop "climate change," mandatory collective farms because it's "more scientific", and so on. I think you get the idea, and I think you can readily see that "following the science" is really more about "following the scientism", the technocrat with a computer model, or a PhD in "Public Health Administration" rather than an actual practising physician, and so on. It's the Michael Bloomberg model of farming: there's nothing to it: dig a hole, insert seed, water said seed.

With that in mind, do remember your friend's mom telling your friend not to pick his scabs and eat them (particularly in public)? Do you remember as a kid being grossed out by that kid during recess that would pick her nose and then very discretely (or sometimes not so discretely) pop it in her mouth? (See, I told you this was going to be gross). Well, if you do, then consider this choice little article shared by V.T.:

Now some time ago I blogged about the 3-D printing of cultured synthetic meat, and even about a restaurant (in Nuttyfornia, where else?) that was proposing to take DNA samples of famous people, culture them and 3D print them as "meat", and serve it to people as a kind of "designer cannibalism." One could have Wolf Blitzer blintzes, Nasty Piglosi potato pancakes, Feinstein falafal, Chuck Schumer sprouts or Madow meat loaf or Trump truffles, and so on.

Well, for those worried about the "cannibalism" aspects of the new "technology," not to worry; there's a solution ready to hand! Just eat yourself:

The saying “You are what you eat” may soon become a lot more literal.

A “DIY meal kit” for growing steaks made from human cells was recently nominated for “design of the year” by the London-based Design Museum.

Named the Ouroboros Steak after the circular symbol of a snake eating itself tail-first, the hypothetical kit would come with everything one needs to use their own cells to grow miniature human meat steaks.

“People think that eating oneself is cannibalism, which technically this is not,” Grace Knight, one of the designers, told Dezeen magazine.

Well, apparently Grace Knight didn't get the memo from her mom: picking your own nose and/or scabs and eating them isn't what nice civilized people do.

They may be nice sources of "protein." And they may avoid all the nasty problems of eating other people in Blitzer blintzes, Piglosi potato pancakes, Feinstein falafal, Schumer sprouts or Madow meat loaf or Trump truffles, nasty problems like... oh, say, mad cow disease, kuru, and so on.

It may not be cannibalism, but it is just plain gross.

And one more thought: these people are just plain nuts, bonkers, insane... perhaps they've been eating themselves (and others) already...

…ABOUT THAT JOHNS HOPKINS COVID STUDY…

This story was a bit of a surprise to me, because at initial glance when I read it, I could not figure out why so many people had spotted it and sent it along to me. But it didn't take long to figure out, once I read into the original article a ways.

What I am talking about is that study by "Genevieve Briand, assistant program director of the Applied Economics master's degree program at Hopkins," that "crunched the numbers" relating to covid--19 deaths in the USA. She came to "certain conclusions" that were deleterious to the planscamdemic narrative (notice the presence of the word "delete" in "deleterious"; we'll get back to that tout suite as my little French grandmother used to say to me when I was a boy and she wanted me to do something, and to do it now), so within a matter of a few days, Johns Hopkins had deleted the study, taken it down, and offered "reasons" for doing so. Here's one article describing its "reasons" (this, again, was shared by many people):

According to the article, Johns Hopkins offered the following "explanation":

On Thursday, Johns Hopkins University explained that they deleted the article on the study because it “was being used to support false and dangerous inaccuracies about the impact of the pandemic.”

What false and dangerous inaccuracies could those be?
Well, here's another take:

A closer look at U.S. deaths due to COVID-19
Yup, sure enough, right there is Johns Hopkins' "explanation":
Editor’s Note: After The News-Letter published this article on Nov. 22, it was brought to our attention that our coverage of Genevieve Briand’s presentation “COVID-19 Deaths: A Look at U.S. Data” has been used to support dangerous inaccuracies that minimize the impact of the pandemic.

We decided on Nov. 26 to retract this article to stop the spread of misinformation, as we noted on social media. However, it is our responsibility as journalists to provide a historical record. We have chosen to take down the article from our website, but it is available here as a PDF.

In accordance with our standards for transparency, we are sharing with our readers how we came to this decision. The News-Letter is an editorially and financially independent, student-run publication. Our articles and content are not endorsed by the University or the School of Medicine, and our decision to retract this article was made independently.

Briand’s study should not be used exclusively in understanding the impact of COVID-19, but should be taken in context with the countless other data published by Hopkins, the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

As assistant director for the Master’s in Applied Economics program at Hopkins, Briand is neither a medical professional nor a disease researcher. At her talk, she herself stated that more research and data are needed to understand the effects of COVID-19 in the U.S.

In other words, the article was (1) not an official study of the university, but one of its students, (2) was not the study of a "medical professional nor a disease researcher", and that leaves the conclusion that (3) her study was being "used to support dangerous inaccuracies that minimize the impact of the pandemic."

But you'll note that the Newsletter itself states that it has been a publication of the Johns Hopkins' student association "since 1896." To my mind, that makes the original publication even more, not less, interesting, because it means that at least one student at that institution, namely Ms. Briand herself, was not asleep, and was simply following the numbers, and doing what any rational and reasonable person would do when examining them: "doubting the narrative".

So let's return to the first article. What did she find?

After retrieving data on the CDC website, Briand compiled a graph representing percentages of total deaths per age category from early February to early September, which includes the period from before COVID-19 was detected in the U.S. to after infection rates soared.

Surprisingly, the deaths of older people stayed the same before and after COVID-19. Since COVID-19 mainly affects the elderly, experts expected an increase in the percentage of deaths in older age groups. However, this increase is not seen from the CDC data. In fact, the percentages of deaths among all age groups remain relatively the same.

Having adopted the "using their own numbers" approach, Ms. Briand came to the following conclusion (which, let it be noted, is a conclusion many other researchers came to long ago:

According to the study, “in contrast to most people’s assumptions, the number of deaths by COVID-19 is not alarming. In fact, it has relatively no effect on deaths in the United States.”

Wait, what? Really?

That’s what it says. And, it should come as no surprise that the study was deleted within days.

This goes into greater depth about her method, and what she found:

These data analyses suggest that in contrast to most people's assumptions, the number of deaths by COVID-19 is not alarming. In fact, it has relatively no effect on deaths in the United States.

This comes as a shock to many people. How is it that the data lie so far from our perception?

To answer that question, Briand shifted her focus to the deaths per causes ranging from 2014 to 2020. There is a sudden increase in deaths in 2020 due to COVID-19. This is no surprise because COVID-19 emerged in the U.S. in early 2020, and thus COVID-19-related deaths increased drastically afterward.

Analysis of deaths per cause in 2018 revealed that the pattern of seasonal increase in the total number of deaths is a result of the rise in deaths by all causes, with the top three being heart disease, respiratory diseases, influenza and pneumonia.

"This is true every year. Every year in the U.S. when we observe the seasonal ups and downs, we have an increase of deaths due to all causes," Briand pointed out.

When Briand looked at the 2020 data during that seasonal period, COVID-19-related deaths exceeded deaths from heart diseases. This was highly unusual since heart disease has always prevailed as the leading cause of deaths. However, when taking a closer look at the death numbers, she noted something strange. As Briand compared the number of deaths per cause during that period in 2020 to 2018, she noticed that instead of the expected drastic increase across all causes, there was a significant decrease in deaths due to heart disease. Even more surprising, as seen in the graph below, this sudden decline in deaths is observed for all other causes. (Emphasis added)

In other words, the implication is that the covid numbers are being "doctored" (not to coin a pun) in order to blow the covid narrative into a planscamdemic, sort of like noticing that suddenly spiking numbers for Briben correlate oddly with falling numbers for Trump. Nope, nothing to see here, we're taking the study down because it needs further study (that will presumably agree with the predetermined narrative).

All of which leads me to wonder - and doubtless many of you may be wondering too - whether or not Dominion software is being used not only to "count" votes, but to count covid deaths... Or as a friend of mine (K.M.) put it to me, Scorecard and Hammer, or "PROMIS 2.0". Information warfare anyone?

I don't know about you, but I wouldn't be a bit surprised. The bottom line is, graph correlations do not prove manipulation of numbers (in either case), but they do give a reasonable basis to conclude that there may be a correlation, and that reasonable rational people are right to be suspicious.

The saddest thing for me to learn over these last several years is that the figures in the alternative community jump on the popular bandwagons as much as anyone else. Whatever the 'hot' story is, they go for it.

Corey Goode was the first example for me, but not the first for most folks who have come through here.

Turns out, being on the outside doesn't make folks any more credible.

I consider Joseph Farrell a talking head who takes himself far more seriously than he should. By his own admission, he garners some of his information through some kind of secret magic ritual ─ literally! ─ which he doesn't want to elaborate on. That's enough off a grounds for me to dismiss whatever opinion he holds. ;)
