I noticed that images stored and posted at TOT are gone.

Something very odd is happening, like all the baidu spiders on here, my other forum / site is getting 200-300k unique visitors per day, which is just crazy, it's no more active than here, is this some Eastern powers attempt to bring down the Wests internet ?

Omg them badiu spider from China have given me a right headache first of all i was told to create a robot txt file and put some coding in then to put some coding in the htaccess file.Did this stop them no no no.They can be a right pain and use up your bandwith etc etc

About one hour ago i just installed a latest plugin from vbulletin to ban these i had to wait about 30 mins but thank god they are gone.I have left the google bot on for now as they are not that bad

Yeah I read somewhere baidu spider does not comply to robot.txt.
They do supposedly operate from a set number of ip adresses. So if the update won't work you might try blocking those...
There's a list of them somewhere in the internet.

Yes, there has been some serious hacking in my company - both telephone and website - both carried out before Christmas and both by (supposedly) different entities. Seems coincidental to me. Most of all crimes can be prefixed with the word cyber these days. I would urge people to read SPAM Nation, or a book like it. As I've said on other threads, what you will read is scary as it covers trafficking, drugs, fraud, etc. We're sandwiched between TPTB Crims on the top and Underworld Crims on the bottom, a sh1te sandwich in anyone's book.
