I would say good riddance to one of the worst puppets our country has ever seen. He was implicated in the 1987 attack on the NZ currency and from that was placed as a prime minister with no previous experience... sound familiar?
In his tenure he has allowed our nation to be subverted by opening the borders to 1000s of immigrants and aided the Chinese buy up and inflation of our house prices.
He has performed the task for his banking buddies of delivering several blows to our sovereignty. He was the one who decided to run an experiment regards changing our national flag. There was something very fishy about how he managed to illegally spend 28 million dollars on the process, when it was very evident from the start that no one actually wished to change the flag. I am actually quite surprised he didn't become the first assassination in our country.
Good riddance.
I often word play his name in reference to John being a name for the toilet.
He has been the John Key.

Unfortunately the opposition is but the other trouser leg of the corporate pants, John Key is getting out now for a good reason, as you know, he is a nasty piece of poo, what is very soon coming is beautifull imo and already eating away at certain peoples without their knowing, all is working for the greatest good.

One of my greatest wishes to one day see, is a nation which manages to not vote or reach the threshold, in an election.
Seems so unlikely though with all the people who think they are exercising their right and performing an important task which their Grandfather's died for.. read as, providing legitimacy to political control.

Some of the character descriptions coming from those vids point to a few things. Like quitting while ahead and having an ability to gauge the right time to buy and sell. Quite a connected person to be making seemingly sudden moves. So is that for news distraction? Good timing in news burying season, as well as probably good tactical sense for the party coming into an election... for a few moments until you think about it and go, nope, he is still up and running and leaving them somewhat in the lurch.

It is an odd thing, I find it quite frustrating silently watching NZ citizens post the opinions they have on the local forum I am a member of... (though I have now not posted there for about a month...because it has just got SO toxic...)...
Frustrating watching the percentages of responses that are shaped like self appointed experts on speculating on what is going to happen to the economy and how sure of themselves they are in their desire to be correct so their own house price (empire) remains intact.. yes I am being facetious. The emperor has got no clothes!
It is frustrating seeing people support real estate booming, and then posture their opinions around their own selfish unbalanced motives. Often they seem oblivious to how obvious they are. Sometimes, well rather often, if I was to allow enough focus on it, I am left in despair that many people seem too far gone already. Their heads distorted into a take on reality which has them thinking it is is just "How life is, and they don't even flinch when they say things all hopeful and willing it to be, "So long as immigration stays flowing in and supply low, there wont be a property crash". The discussions can be endless streams of these sorts of comments in which the people are meant to be fellow countrymen, but when you step back and see what they are saying, it starts to sound more like some horrid band of criminals describing how they are going to mutilate the body or extort from your grandma. Brainwashed into capitalism, presenting themselves to me, like emotional lepers, forced into this state by having been bombarded and phobia'd out.... layering their psyche with these affirmations that basically say "It is okay to eat fish because they don't have any feelings" (thanks kurt).
But yeah too far gone. Aspiring to be like other sociopath and psychopaths who are supposedly 'successful' ...EVERYTHING is out of calibration to the point one thinks they have found themselves in topsy turvy land.

Back to Dunny Key, seems like a history of lying, a history of going somewhere.. stitching them up, and then bailing just before the splash of the palm on the poop pond.

Some saying he is awesome and a leader always has a fine plan for their succession, and that this is one. Which I respond as yesterday, in which sure you take that on and think about it for a moment and it holds up even, but the disco lights flash on and off and point to the option taken of resigning at this time of year in news dump season etc, as being sneaky, manipulative, and knowing of the methods of being sneaky and manipulative... which then points to a larger split of self interest or ulterior interest. Not as of the reason given as, in the best interests of country or family.
Also seeing a small plenty, in my watching, who are stating they also finding it odd. People who are maybe usually afraid to say they think something is odd, in fear of being labelled as conspiratorial. read as, observant and attempting to grasp a balanced view of matters.lol
But the others are trying their hardest as 'model citizens' to tell those ones the error of their ways :-O

If he was to have read this thread, he'd be chuckling about being called the Master of Laketown.
Mainly because he would have thought to himself how he'd had the opportunity to be shown through some of Laketown in a PJ guided tour in 2011, and would be chuckling about that connection.
We called him the Master of Laketown from that day on, joking about the few of us who had the best opportunity to push him in had we been suicidal lol. He'd probably have stopped chuckling now.
